About PRAC

The Park Rangers Association of California is a professional organization for park rangers and other uniformed park employees of municipal, county, special district, state and federal agencies.

PRAC seeks to provide and promote a common ground for sharing experiences, emotions, information, and training.

The Park Rangers Association of California is a volunteer organization. The elected officers are working professionals who volunteer to benefit the park field. Membership and involvement of park personnel and students has increased dramatically in recent years. PRAC provides rangers statewide with a voice in management of parks, open space areas and natural resources. PRAC seeks to establish statewide professional standards for rangers through legislation and interagency cooperation.
